My Brand New Golf CLub Shafts are too Long. ?

Hi, I recently bought my first set of Golf Clubs. I’m 6’4″ & the shafts are too long (+1.50″ longer) than recommended. At first I just thought that because I am 6’4″ I need longer shaft. I recently found out that this is incorrect and all that matter is my wrist to floor length.

I ran your numbers, 6`4″ and 36″, through the GigaGolf eFit System (see GigaGolf at http://golf-swing-plus.blogspot.com) and it recommends that your clubs be plus .5″ long and 1 degree upright.

With that information, I would take your set to a local clubmaker and have your loft and lie checked. What they will do is actually have you hit some shots with contact tape on your clubs and this will tell you what problems you need to correct.

This process won`t take very long and will give you a definitive answer.

Also, the solution shouldn`t be too costly!
